My dear friend Mary Bryan Smith (see her Caring Bridge site) has just chosen her surgeons. I cannot see who you used. She has lots of people to connect with, but she has your site here and may one day phone you.

Hi Sarah. I just got my internet back after our move and was happy to see a new post. I vividly remember the princess and the pea post you wrote. IThank you for sharing your journey publicly. You have inspired me with your faith, trust, bravery, and perseverance. Little did I know that your journey would end up hitting so close to home. You are a hero Sarah.

Thank you, Daniel. It has been helpful for me to just talk about what has been going on. Encouragement from friends and family has made living through it so much easier. Sharing has surely blessed me most of all!

Gosh, I don’t know what to say. Both Daniel and Taeko sum it up beautifully so much I concur.

You have so many gifts and are a gift to us plus those you’ve not yet met. Though there’s no way EVER you’d need to be on the Biggest Loser (me neither for that much), through your journey this year you have become a role model. The BL contestants are role models and through each season each one can pay it forward.

So, my friend, you’ve been given to us as a gift. And again as Taeko said best, I too am proud to have a friend like you!

Sarah, you are amazing.
It’s difficult to go through these life changes and challenges. It’s great to know you’ve had such support from family and friends. It could be as simple as saying ‘Thanks for sharing’, but I really do mean it. This is something personal and having the courage to go through it all, allowing us into your life, sharing your experiences good and bad – I want to say thank you.

I think those “sisters” are there to stay. Glad you’re so upbeat even so soon after surgery. Thursday will go well. We know you’re anxious – in good time – to pump that kb metal. Keep occupied with your new book but I suspect you’re chomping at the bit as you might want to ‘test’ some of that stuff. New year, new slate and no more surgery!
